We have officially closed for the season and would like to take this time to give a heartfelt THANK YOU to the many people who came to paddle with us this year. We appreciate all those who came for the first time, and those of you who have come to visit the Baraboo River year after year. With these being such hard times for small businesses to remain open due to Covid-19 we feel especially blessed that we had the opportunity to work very hard at providing a safe activity for people to do together outdoors. We have done this in the past and will continue to do so in the future, as we look forward to our reopening in May 2021. Thank you for supporting Baraboo River Canoe & Kayak Rentals!

The leaves are starting to change and I think it's going to be a beautiful weekend for paddling down the Baraboo River. We often get asked if our lavender is in bloom yet. While it isn't prime season for lavender here, our farm still offers a magnificent beauty in the fall that takes on a whole new perspective! We're going to be highlighting 3 things each week over the next 3 weeks (until season closing October 3) you can do and see on our farm. Anyone who does and sees all 3 things we highlight each week be entered into a drawing for a free $25 gift certificate each week). Winner will be announced each Saturday, starting tomorrow through this weekend through October 3. (there will be 1 winner each week).

We are taking reservations for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday (Labor Day Weekend). Reservations for this coming weekend are highly recommended in order to be sure we have enough boats saved for your party. We are looking forward to seeing everyone!

We are open and accepting walk ins as well!

People often ask, when is the latest we can head out on the river?

*The answer is going to depend on how many hours you are looking to paddle because we need to have everyone picked up off the river by 5 o'clock. Our shortest trip is approximately two hours so we would need to have you on the river by 3 PM for that trip, and an hour earlier than that for each extra hour you are looking to paddle.*

Of course we do send our first boats out at 9 AM and the early paddlers tend to see the most wildlife along the river!

From 9 AM we send people out each hour until our very last boaters go out just before 3 PM.
